Scinetiq Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd is a privately owned company engaged in the development and integration of solutions for the critical infrastructure protection, civil security, and smart technology domains. STS leverages the power of the Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity and situational awareness with geospatial intelligence to support complex organisational environments in the public and private commercial sectors.
My background is in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems. I have spent the past 26 years focused on the delivery of integrated systems solutions to both the military and commercial sectors with six years in the industrial automation environment prior to that.
I am passionate about innovation and the application of technologies in solving real-world problems to the betterment of humankind.
Over the course of my career, I have gained multifaceted experience in hardware and software design and development, delivery of complex systems, executive level roles and business management. An entrepreneur at heart.

My career has spanned from being a professional soldier for 25 years to various managerial roles in the defence and security sectors.
I strive in building and maintaining customer relationships and enjoy working in a team environment.
My value add is to map the client’s operational needs and requirements to the most effective integrated capability and system solution.
A career spanning over thirty years predominantly in the integrated communications and surveillance systems space and in recent years a strong focus into civil security and smart city solutions.
I have the ability to apply my expertise from experience gained in multiple implementation domains in being able to provide complex systems solutions for varied applications.
I believe in strong relationships with our clients, understanding their challenges intimately and being able to resolve those challenges through the application of best-of-breed technologies.
